The new development takes place in an active, urban environment on the corner of Florida Avenue and North Capitol Street, NE. The property will now be home to a new 13-story, 327,840-SF building to include 388 units, which formerly housed a gas station. GreenBench managed the permitting, budget / contract negotiations with general contractor, and was involved in the heavy value engineering process resulting in +5% reduction in overall costs. GreenBench also managed the design and approval of complicated dry utility (power and communications) design and implementation.
